Next Meeting in Two Weeks!
Our next meeting will be Wednesday 5/16/2007, from 7:00-8:15. Plan to be there and be sure to spread the word. We'll be doing further readings from Father Arseny, hopefully wrapping up our previous discussion on Orthodoxy vs. every other religion (sorry, I couldn't come up with a better description of the topic), and starting our next discussion on Guy/Girl relationships. Remember to bring questions and topics on this topic and remember that guys and girls will be meeting in separate places for this one.
Yesterday's meeting went well. We read Fr. Arseny and talked about the above topic for a while. After group, Hannah did a brief guard "rifle" demonstration and I proved that not everyone can spin a fake rifle around.
This weekend, Clara and I will be visiting the youth group in Crawfordsville at St. Stephen's. Be sure to remind us to tell you about our experience and then we can decide if we want to head up there for one of their meetings, or invite them to one of ours, or do some activity somewhere in between. Don't let me forget, because I will.

yes see who was right? i was. it IS harder than it looks like. but guard is tough enough for it. and ive been to st. stephen's youth group a few times before youthodorx. i like it a lot. they play a lot of fun games (ever played sardines??) and they have singing time and "serious" time (for talks on orthodoxy) and theres always food and we make hot dogs sometimes and stuff like that. its a lot of fun. i think we should do something with them.

i wish we hadn't changed the meetings to every other week though...now whatll i do on wednesday? ::grin::

ah, here it is wednesday with nowhere to go, noone to see, nothing to do.
its so sad.
so i've decided that i'm gonna post a whole bunch of comments here about random things until...well until i get bored or my parents make me do my homework.

why don't the boys ever put coments on this thing? honestly, i don't think they ever chack it. it's really only me, hannah and bridget.
oh, that reminds me; josh, the three of us are gonna start a campaign to change the background. it is, as you say "our blog" ::grin::

i've decided that math is the most vile subject in the world. of course that might be because our math teacher is...well i won't say what i really think cuz then this comment would be deleted. but, thankfully, i am able to find the solution to my problems.
it's called throwing my mathbook at the wall and screaming REALLLLLLLLLYYYYYYY loud.
and it just occured to me...why would you people even care? oh yeah, you don't. oh well.
and now it is 7:00. right now i would be at the meeting and the mcdonalds would be there. I suppose we would wait for about 5 minutes then we'd pray. then we'd read the book thing- oh yeah, just to note, i think the book is really interesting. i mean, when i first thought about it i wa ssure it was gonna be ine of those boring narratives but it is actually really good.
and that's all for now i have to do my math (BLAH!!)
and now it is 8:00. and the meeting would be over and i would be doing the math that i STILL haven't done. ok, so i've done some of it but...
hmm...what else to put??? lalalalala. this is utterly pointless....don't worry, i probably won't put any more on.
anyway, this is all to say that we should really have the meetings every week. Bridget agrees with me. and only hannah posts on the blog other than the two of us so we win. every week josh!

lol sounds like you had a great night. yeah its like 5 and no one is home at my house and im not allowed on the phone and am realllly bored but i wont do a claire and post 60 million things.
